Dr. Saeed Ahmad is medical epidemiologist, currently undertaking doctoral research in epidemiology and public health at Tampere University in Finland. With a dedication to improving global health outcomes, he is deeply committed to the principles of effective altruism. Leveraging his extensive background in global health security in low and middle-income countries and public health ethics in the EU, Dr. Ahmad brings a wealth of practical experience to his academic pursuits. He is driven by a desire to contribute to sustainable development goals through One Health - a collaborative, multisectoral, and transdisciplinary approach with the goal of achieving optimal health outcomes recognizing the interconnection between people, animals, plants, and their shared environment.
